Tigre, Buenos Aires

Tigre is a fun little town and a nice break from the big city. We actually started our time in Buenos Aires at Tigre. It was really fun because it is right on the Delta so there are little rivers everywhere! We stopped in at the Waffle House for lunch :)

This was our first time to have a tuna salad on a waffle! But we were so excited for something yummy and healthy. It was super yummy!

Such a beautiful display of plants!

The river was so pretty even though the water was pretty mucky

So fun to watch all the boats go by!

They have little trains that bring the boats to the water and then back for storage. Pretty neat!

That's some shoulder pain :(

Garbage boat, he floats along and scoops up garbage, Landon was pretty impressed with this!

This is the boat we took to the downtown Buenos Aires area. It was nice with A/C! Just our luck we arrived on the hottest day they have had in 53 years! We were literally melting...

Kind of like a little taste of Italy :)

Some rich guy lived here and wanted to control his own climate so he built a box around his house, interesting idea, but hey whatever works...

We saw lots of jet skis and water skiing, although I would have to be convinced to get in the muddy water!

Boat lifts to keep the boats out of the water. This area of the Delta has no public road access. Only by boat. So there is a grocery store boat that comes by and if you need something you put a flag out on your dock so they stop. There is a school boat that collects all the kids and takes them to the school. Also a garbage boat that comes and collects garbage. We thought this was pretty cool!

Arriving to Buenos Aires

Huge Catamaran! Wow!
