Bariloche & Road Trip to Buenos Aires with Jorge & Sol

In reality, Bariloche was really comfortable for us and we just recouped for about 4 days and caught up on a lot. It was really refreshing. It was really hard to find a place to stay because there were so many travelers but we found a really cute hotel and they only had one room left so we felt pretty lucky! Bariloche was a super fun town and really laid back :)

The beautiful lake of Bariloche

Chocolate Fountains everywhere!

We were surprised to find a ice skating rink when we walked into a restaurant, pretty neat!

Dinner for Landon's Birthday :) Narrowly escaping the "bambi filled with yucky" :)

These are what the busses look like that we ride, they are very nice!

Gotta try out the chocolate right? :)

After Bariloche, we took a bus to San Martin de los Andes to visit a couple we had met at convention in Huincacara. We knew they had a small meeting there so we thought it would be nice to see them. We were on our way to Buenos Aires after that. Turns out her brother was getting married in BA that weekend so they offered for us to ride with them :) It was a 24 hour drive so the idea of having company was nice for both of us! Here we are having a nice steak lunch after meeting on Sunday in their backyard.
The dogs were very hopeful for some meat :)

A pizza place we ate at had the perfect motto :)

The park in the middle of town. So pretty!

 The lake at San Martin

The four of us! We are all pretty close in age so it was really fun to be with another young couple!

 Geocache!

The cars take GNC natural gas as well as normal gasoline. It's funny to see everyone getting gas with their hoods up!
Road Trip!

The flat and windy plains of Argentina

 Heart cloud!

The toilets all have their tanks above, in the wall, or in the ceiling above. It's so weird to see toilets without a tank or with it above like this one!
Whoops, a little bit of car trouble...

Taking the whole dash off might help, or maybe not

The best way to wait it out is with Yahtzee and a friend :)

So the portion here says, 25g or 1 cup of tea... we laughed at this one. No wonder not many people cook using measurements, they don't really have them!

 Landon's turn to drive :)

We stayed one night in Bahia Blanca with another family we had met at convention. It was so fun to be with them even only for a short time. I didn't get a picture of the family but here is a store of one of the friends we went to for some snacks :)

These clouds looked like a tornado!

 Sunflowers :)
