Can you say culture! It's so hard to not take a picture of everything and everyone! Bolivia is South America's poorest country with about 63% indigenous people. It is so neat to see all the colorful clothing, the way the women carry their loads & babies, and the older generations. It has been a little difficult getting used to the food, but we are enjoying this splash of culture and color in our trip! Landon has done an amazing job on these pictures if I might say so myself :) This is our new "spy" lens at work and it is not only really fun (and funny) trying to take these but we are so excited about the results!

One of our favorites! Just chatting away at the park :)
The grumpy faces are always funny :)
The years of wear and tear on her body are so evident. This lady was speaking Quechua (the native language) at the market when we were buying some grapes. It was the perfect distraction so we could get a few pictures of her.
This is a very classic picture of the coca leaf tradition. The people carry their leaves in these green plastic bags. You put about 20-30 leaves in the inside of your cheek until it forms like a golf size ball and leave it there for up to 3 hours before changing for new leaves. It is supposed to help with altitude, take away sleepiness, headaches, etc... as they say, it's good for everything! The flavor is very bitter so it was hard for us to like it but when altitude is affecting you, you will try anything!
Need a new sole? Take your pick..
Love these markets!
These are coca leaves
My main backpack cinch strap broke so we found this shoe store and the man was very willing to fix it. It was so neat to see his machine!
They use the wood from the cactus to make practically every piece of furniture and art. It's very pretty wood!
Hmm.. hungry anyone??
There are some of the most amazing mountain views here in Bolivia! No sleeping on these busses, too much to see!
