We all survived the heat during the meetings (so hot, oh my..) and had a really special time together! So fun to see all the friends together and realize how meaningful and helpful it really is! 

Nicaragua

Tica Bus is a bus line that goes from Costa Rica to Nicaragua. We had a nice ride over and a pretty easy border crossing. We were only concerned with the passport collecting method (throw them all in a plastic bag) what!? Also spraying the inside of the bus was a little concerning haha.

snooze time!

Everyone zonked out - I was so concerned with this man holding this newborn baby. Every time he would snooze off, it looked like the baby was going to fall out of his arms!

A little of daily life

This is what laundry day looks like around here. If we wait to long, we run out of line to dry :) We actually have a dryer now so we only use the line until the rain comes then we use the dryer. 

 My birthday card from my in-laws! It was super exciting because it was our first letter! This post office is huge, so many post office boxes, its like a maze to find ours! Thanks Herb & Glenda for the little piece from home and remembering me on my birthday!

So I think we spent almost an hour trying to figure out the cuñada and concuñada thing. Basically they have a different name for a sister-in-law who married your spouses sibling and another name for the spouses sibling. It's still kind of confusing but this chart was helpful. Sorry Lane, you became Liz for a second so we could figure out what you would be as a "sister" to Landon. haha funny times!
