Costa Rica Week #1

As soon as we boarded the plane we fell asleep! We were both so exhausted from last minute running around and saying good bye. We woke up to find this nice breakfast waiting for us :) Love TACA airlines. No hassle! 

When we boarded the plane from El Salvador to Costa Rica, we were told we would basically have the plane to ourselves. Only 12 passengers- got to stretch out! 

Wed night at the Soto's home. Very special fellowship with families from Texas visiting Costa Rica. Darren & Detje lived in Costa Rica for a year with their 2 boys

Good-bye...

Saying Good-Bye is never any fun...

My parents came to help out with a few last minute things we needed done especially since we didn't have a car anymore it was a HUGE help! Amazing how hard I tried to be organized, there are always last minute things to do. 

The car was loaded because my parents were taking my brother who just moved to college a few things for his apartment. It was pretty funny!

Goodbyes to our dear friends John & Lori. We will miss them. It was a fun and joyful last 4 months living with them and we are so happy for the good times we will always remember.

No turning back

The cars are gone... I guess this means no turning back now. We are going to miss them but so nice to know we are closer to leaving! We decided to sell them now because we have a week of camping in Big Sur with Allen & Christine coming up and we were anxious we wouldn't have enough time before we leave. Less to worry about too so we are feeling happy about it. We rented a Yaris this morning and are excited to drive this little zippy car up to see my sister Ciara and then on to Big Sur! Camping here we come!

El Capitan Lake - Summer Fun!

We had a great day out on the lake with L&A and the girls :) We made a camp on the shore so someone could stay with Brynna while the boat went out. Annika loves being in the boat. It was a perfect boating day!

Borrego Springs Jeep Tour

Landon got a Photo Jeep Tour for his birthday back in January and things finally settled down enough for us to use it. We were not sure what to expect since we have so much experience with off road stuff but it turned out to be pretty fun! It was a fun day and we got to see some desert we hadn't seen before.

River Time!

We just had the most AWESOME time at the river! It's days like that when I really miss home. The water was the perfect temperature and being out with all the family on the boat was super fun! Landon and I both had a great ski! We had a blast!

Ahhh.... Now this is my happy place :) :)

Baby Brynna is Here!

We are so excited to be Auntie and Uncle again! Lane, Alesha and Annika welcomed little Brynna Kate to their family on June 14th. We are so happy we get to spend some time with her before we leave. (Something we are trying not to think about) She's adorable! We are so happy to finally get to meet her!

Annika loves her new little sister! We were at the hospital to meet Brynna and then came over on Sunday and had lots of sweet time together. Love time with our nieces!
